Often see many churches with just add headstones dotted around, reading about the Saxon hamlet and there's no info about what happened to the village but one guess is it was raised due to the black death and I have heard this before with a churches in Bedfordshire where the whole village was wiped out by the plague.

More pointed arch here so Gothic I think, 14th century I gather, I wonder due to it's not as pointed means it's more early in design.

To my untrained eyes, this is a Tudor arch two light with ogee inner arches with a middle trefoil round centre window. if I'm right then I'm getting there with all the research, if I'm wrong then so be it.

Some people would remove the yellow bucket but why? the church is old, the church needs repairs so it stays where it is. the font I,m sure is modern but the nave is the 13th century in date. 18th-century font and restored.
