The stunning Hunstanton beach, this must be the best beach along the coastline here and the only one with rocks. The tide is up and one of the lower types.

Well after a few years of trying for sunsets along this beach I finally got one, the British weather is so changeable you just never knows what's going to happen and living 34 miles away can become expensive. The colours and mood was stunning with the Hunstanton cliffs standing out, Lee filters used to control the sky.

This was so stunning, he waves gently rolling up the beach with the sunset glow shimmering on the North sea and I was so warm for a Novembers day.

Using the 10 stop ND big stopper filter, for motion photography, something I hardly do tbh, too lazy sometimes, the effect is mostly wonderful but I,m not too keen on making clouds move like some I like to keep he form if I can.

The only cliffs for a good few miles at Hunstanton and shocked no one else was attempting to walk along the rocks when the tide was coming in, with conditions like this, with a low monthly tide even if you got stuck on those rocks you be very safe. Only spring tides and storm sergers will hit up to the cliffs but always respect the sea and you be safe always.

Using the lee filter big stopper- 10 stop with the 3 stop grad, the hardest part with sunsets is mostly when the sun is low giving that strong lighting, sadly the camera I,m using wont work with Lee filters reverse grad.

Just using the grad filters now and stopping the lens down to around f11 gave just enough movement in the waves but keeping the form of the waves. The water was so gentle just lapping around my feet, the only issues when the water hits the tripods feet the kit starts sinking causing movement issues.

Almost dark now and now it's becoming great fun, needing the water to help brighten the foreground and when finding the sea starting to fill some of the lower parts of the beach I thought just perfect and this was great fun, the water chasing me down the beach.

The sea flowing into a lower part of the beach, being so dark the water gives light to the dark foreground and gives a nice motion, I stood there and thought how gentle the sea can be yet it can destroy anything in it's path, that's the joys of going out and seeing the world.

Not many people will see the mood or lighting when out and about, lighting and mood is my thing. I love to show what I see or feel, the beauty or power, no matter what. Nature is so stunning why destroy it using Photoshop. I'm old fashioned with the camera, brought up using film and I wish to keep that limitation where camera control and seeing the lighting is key.

The sea was so gentle as the tide came in it gave a lovely view and feel to the whole picture with the foreground as the water flowing around the rocks.

The sun long since set giving this stunning view. The beach was empty here at Hunstanton Norfolk and to the people who was on the beach this is what you was missing, always stay for the whole show. It's a bit like watching a football match where the team is 4 .0 down and half the fans leave but the team makes a dramatic come back and I bet those fans who's left regrets it afterwards. Nature can come up with the most stunning art, she is the greatest artist, all I do is control a box of tricks, I work along side mother nature, no Photoshop or adding or removing, when you don't reply on software you have to work with what's in front. The joy of seeing this natural event then going home to Photoshop the life out of it would be a sin. It removes the being there, it removes the reality.

The beach at Holme North Norfolk is so peaceful and in weather like this it's simply stunning. the way the colours of he sunset was shinning off the beach gave it such a beautiful look.
